Overview

Senior EU Lawyer & Competition

At Marimón Abogados, we are looking for a senior lawyer (with between 5 and 10 years of experience) to join our Competition and EU Law Department team, either in our Madrid or Barcelona office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in merger control and foreign investment matters.
• Advising and handling issues related to abuses, cartels, and vertical agreements.
• Develop and implement compliance programs for clients.
• Work on Unfair Competition and Food Chain Law issues.
• Take on EU Law matters and related advisory work.

Qualifications

• Experience: between 5 and 10 years in competition law at a top-tier law firm in Spain or Brussels.
• Education: Law degree (a degree in Business Administration or Economics is a plus). Specialization master's degree or master''s degree in Competition Law and European Law.
• Experience in training and supervising junior lawyers.
• Professional level of English and Spanish; other languages are a plus.
