AVA is partnered with a leading OEM in the wind energy sector. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking experienced Project Director to join their dynamic team and play a key role in the successful delivery of wind energy projects.

Role Overview :

As Project Director, you will take full ownership of the successful delivery of complex wind turbine projects. You’ll oversee multiple project teams and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial acumen, technical oversight, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic leadership across the full lifecycle of wind projects
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and quality control
• Lead and mentor project teams, including Project Managers and Engineers
• Engage with clients, partners, and internal leadership to ensure project alignment
• Drive high-level decision-making and resolve critical project issues
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE and regulatory standards
• Report directly to executive leadership on project performance and milestones
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Requirements :

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale renewable energy or wind projects at a senior level
• Strong background in engineering or construction project delivery (degree preferred)
• Proven leadership in managing complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
• Deep understanding of commercial contracts, risk, and financial oversight
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and client meetings
