Overview

Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

Location : Madrid UK (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)

Salary : €75,000 - €80,000

Must be fluent in English

We’re looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to help strengthen our clients presence in a key market. Working hand-in-hand with AWS and there commercial teams, you’ll act as the bridge between technology and business, supporting sales to achieve ambitious targets and delivering the technical expertise that underpins customer success.

This role offers a blend of strategic influence and hands-on engagement, giving you the chance to shape client conversations, create compelling solutions, and represent AWS services with credibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical discovery sessions and qualify opportunities for AWS-based solutions.
  • Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS architectures.
  • Design solutions aligned with AWS best practices, including the Well-Architected Framework , Control Tower , and Security Hub .
  • Create technical proposals, solution briefs, architecture diagrams, and client presentations.
  • Conduct AWS MAP assessments and support migration funding business cases.
  • Shape AI / ML and GenAI solutions using tools such as Amazon Bedrock , SageMaker , and Amazon Q .
  • Collaborate with AWS account teams on opportunity shaping, co-selling, and funding programs.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, Statement of Work (SOW) documentation, and transition plans for delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving AWS services, cloud-native trends, and architectural innovations.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Collaborating with sales teams and partners to scope, design, and position AWS-based solutions.
  • Preparing tailored customer quotes, proposals, and solution documentation.
  • Delivering technical demos and presentations to partners and end users.
  • Supporting marketing and sales in building campaigns and initiatives that highlight our differentiators.
  • Staying ahead of the market by tracking competitor activity and AWS product updates.
  • Acting as a point of contact for customer enquiries, providing solution design guidance and resolving technical queries.
  • Providing regular reporting on business trends, pipeline activity, and key customer opportunities.
  • Supporting product positioning and developing margin-enhancing propositions.
  • Training both internal teams and partners to strengthen AWS product knowledge and solution adoption.
  • Building strong customer relationships through regular touchpoints and strategic engagement.
  • Maintaining vendor certifications and deep knowledge of AWS pricing, tools, and partner programmes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Native Spanish speaker with fluent English.
  • Proven background in pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar (5+ years).
  • Strong understanding of AWS technologies and cloud transformation.
  • Ability to deliver training sessions and technical enablement.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to align solutions to business outcomes.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.
