Aridditive is a deep‑tech startup working at the intersection of structural engineering, digital fabrication, and sustainable construction.
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Structural Analysis to join our R&D and Engineering team and play a key role in the structural design, validation, and optimisation of innovative concrete elements.
The position focuses on structural analysis and design not on robotics or machine operation. You will work on the structural behaviour of prefabricated components and systems requiring advanced validation and certification approaches. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and materials specialists, contributing to both applied research and real‑world projects.
Structural analysis and dimensioning of concrete elements such as:
Advanced FEM modelling (including nonlinear behaviour, stability, cracking, and failure mechanisms).
Definition and evaluation of metallic, non‑metallic, fibres, or other compatible systems.
Design and assessment of connection systems between prefabricated elements.
Interpretation and application of relevant structural codes (EN 1991, EN 1992, EN 1993).
Development of internal structural design methodologies and validation frameworks.
Preparation of technical reports and structural documentation.
Contribution to R&D activities and intellectual property generation.
Only candidates who meet the mandatory requirements will be considered.
A role within a highly innovative R&D project in a fast‑growing deep‑tech startup.
A collaborative and flexible work environment.
Direct involvement in projects that aim to transform a traditionally low‑innovation sector through technology and sustainability.
Real opportunities for professional growth and long‑term impact as the company scales.
Flexible working hours and a strong culture of technical excellence and initiative.
CV and motivation letter screening.
Online technical interview.
Final on‑site interview in Barcelona with selected finalists.
