A technology services provider in Madrid is seeking a Tibco Platform Engineer to lead the development and deployment of integrations using Tibco technology. The role entails validating requirements, developing interfaces, and supporting various technical initiatives. Ideal candidates should have strong experience in Tibco and Java, along with proficiency in Linux. This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring around two weeks on-site every two months.

Formación

• Experience with Tibco and Java is essential, knowledge of C# or PHP is a plus.
• Strong experience with Linux and shell scripting is required.
• Familiarity with multiple file formats and protocols is necessary.

Responsabilidades

We’re looking for a Tibco Platform Engineer, who will play a key role in the development, validation, and deployment of integrations using Tibco technology, collaborating closely with project management and supporting high-visibility technical initiatives within the platform.

🛠️ Main responsibilities

• Validate technical requirements and develop interfaces with Tibco.
• Deliver new features and enhancements aligned with specifications.
• Prepare documentation for development, deployment, and testing.
• Perform unit tests and participate in live testing / debugging with clients.
• Deploy solutions across environments.
• Support project management, development, and support teams.
• Take part in technical projects such as database migrations, Linux, CFT evolutions, and IT Risk initiatives.
• Represent the platform technically with internal teams and clients, and assume Tech Lead responsibilities once fully ramped up.

🔧 Key Skills & Technologies

• Experience with Tibco and Java ; knowledge of C# or PHP is a plus.
• Strong experience with Linux and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of file formats: ASCII, EBCDIC, UTF-8, PGP/GPG, XML.
• Familiarity with CFT, FTP/SFTP, MVS, MQ protocols.
• Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• English: mandatory (B2+)
• French: plus

Madrid – Hybrid (75% remote, around 2 weeks on-site every 2 months)
