You’ll look at how that investment helps reduce our long-term spend and at the same time improves customer experience. You’ll be based in one of our corporate offices and will help organise and direct our efforts to maximize capacity more efficiently and frugally than we have in the past. You’ll learn what efficiency and cost-removal opportunities teams across AMZL Europe have identified, and work out how to force multiply their impacts by bringing them together as a coherent programme of work. You’ll present your analysis and recommendations to Directors and VPs, and secure alignment across multiple AMZL teams on our goals and supporting projects to help us become more cost-effective over the next six years. You will use a combination of leadership, thought clarity, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You’ll be partnering with diverse cross-functional teams to deliver change at the most senior level.
You click on your screen, and next day an Amazon parcel arrives at your doorstep. It must be magic, right? Well, not entirely. It’s a mixture of precision, invention, and world class supply chain logistics. It’s a host of teams working closely together to deliver a slick experience for our customers. It’s the use of data to understand what’s going to be needed and making sure we’re ready to handle the demand. It’s paying attention to the detail whilst also having a really good understanding of the big picture. And this role will play a big part in making it happen.
Experience defining and executing program requirements.
