A global technology company based in Barcelona is looking for an expert in Labor Relations to ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and support positive labor relations. This role requires strong business acumen, fluency in the local language, and a solid understanding of labor laws. The Labor Relations specialist will engage with management and labor representatives, lead negotiations, and manage union relationships. This position is full-time and requires coordination with labor authorities and works councils.
The Labor Relations role is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in labor relations matters to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). The role requires a strong understanding of business operations and labor laws with direction from senior HR partners. This position is strategically allocated based on current business needs focusing on fostering positive labor relations and effectively managing labor-related challenges within the organization. The specialist will play a key role in negotiating interpreting and implementing CBAs and will serve as a vital liaison between management and labor representatives.
Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country : EU Work Permit NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
