A leading chemical specialty company in Barcelona is seeking a Unified Communications Service Manager responsible for the operations of Microsoft Teams, leading IT teams, and ensuring user satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of service leadership experience, and proficiency in managing IT projects within an international company. This role offers a permanent contract and a flexible work environment.

Descripción del empleo

Responsibilities

• Fully and solely accountable for the efficient operations of the Unified Communications service based on Microsoft Teams technology across all Clariant locations, including telephony, video conferencing and contact center technologies.
• Provide user support management and governance (incident management and resolution).
• Lead internal and / or external IT specialists, maintain business relationships; ensure seamless operations and provide maintenance & support for dedicated scope of service, manage local & global suppliers; plan & manage the service budget; secure user satisfaction & business value.
• Promotes a high degree of standardization on global solutions to keep running costs in balance with business needs.
• Lead the design, architecture and roll out of unified communication systems, ensuring alignment with organizational and security requirements as well as industry best practices and proactively apply mitigations to technology changes.

Requirements

• Higher education or equivalent degree in information management, computer science, business management or similar.
• At least 3 to 5 years experience in service leadership, experience managing Microsoft Teams telephony and IT projects in an international company.
• Nice to have certifications on project management (Prince2, PMP or SCRUM), IT service management (ITIL) and Microsoft related.
• Ability to react in front of IT outages and escalations, and ability to operate in complex technical environments.
• Continuous improvement of the service quality and financials, having focus in increase user satisfaction.
• Experience in international environments and networking with the regional IT.
• Problem solving and proactive technical solutions improvements.
• Advanced English skills – collaboration with multiple countries in English.
