Job Description

Our British client in Spain is seeking an experienced and dedicated Independent Financial Advisor for an exciting opportunity to showcase expertise in the financial sector. They are a leading financial advisory firm based in Marbella, specializing in providing holistic financial advice to Expats living in the EU and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, addressing their financial goals, challenges, and aspirations.
  2. Conduct financial assessments and analyses to develop customized financial plans aligned with client objectives.
  3. Recommend investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and other financial matters.
  4. Build relationships and generate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives to expand the client base.
  5. Use active listening and emotional intelligence to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
  6. Maintain strong client relationships through confident communication and ongoing support.
  7. Follow up with potential clients, overcome objections, and close sales persistently.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to deliver current financial solutions.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as an Independent Financial Advisor with a successful track record.
  2. Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and compliance requirements.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with a sales focus.
  4. Ability to work independently and remotely, maintaining professionalism and productivity.
  5. Goal-oriented with a drive to exceed expectations and meet sales targets.
  6. Relevant certifications (e.g., CII, CISI level 4, CFP, CFA, Series 7) are preferred.
  7. Fluency in English; additional languages like Spanish, German, or French are a plus.
