THE ROLE

The Legal department is seeking a motivated In-house Lawyer to join our team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to grow their legal skills in a dynamic, international company while supporting and collaborating with diverse, cross-functional groups across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an In-house Lawyer, you will assist the General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel with a range of duties, including but not limited to :

• Corporate governance tasks involve the management and control of legal entities.
• Advising on, drafting, and reviewing a diverse array of contracts.
• Coordinating with external law firms and overseeing ongoing legal matters.
• Identifying and assessing potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Advising key departments and management on regulatory and compliance matters to maintain adherence to legal requirements.
• Assisting in the enforcement of the company's data protection policies, ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the EU countries, and coordinating with relevant departments to safeguard personal data-handling practices across the organization.
• Managing and coordinating with external agents to oversee the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents and trademarks, ensuring timely filing of new applications and renewals.
• Assisting in the implementation of new software.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

1-5 years of experience acquired at a law firm or in a corporate legal environment.

A completed law degree from an accredited institution is required.

Experience with international legal practices and corporate laws is highly valued but not mandatory.

SKILLS

A proactive and hands-on approach to responsibilities.

Ability to provide service-minded legal guidance, prioritizing the needs of the business while fostering collaborative relationships with all departments.

Aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and a strong sense of teamwork.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to engage in a variety of legal challenges and embrace professional growth opportunities.

Candidates who are based in or near Barcelona will be favorably considered, but in any case, occasional travel to our offices in the area must be possible.

Interest and ability to engage in a role with an international scope, playing a part in the worldwide functions of the company.
