Overview

At Iberostar Group, we are seeking a HCM Workday Functional Analyst / Consultant to join our HR Tech CoE - Global Human Resources team based in Palma de Mallorca. This role is crucial in the HR Tech CoE to support maintenance of the HCM Workday platform, new implementations, and process improvements. You will manage HR projects for Global HR Operations and collaborate across HR teams and geographies, playing a key part in our HR transformation, digitization, and operational excellence initiatives.

Job Location : Palma de Mallorca Headquarters, Spain

What will your day-to-day work involve?

Reporting to the Global HR Operations Director, your main responsibilities include:

• Responsibilities during Workday deployment phase: Serving as a key expert for HCM Workday configuration and deployment, including testing, validation, and post-implementation support, working with the global project team and external partners.

• Ongoing HR technology BAU responsibilities: Analyzing and partnering with end-users to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Supporting system issues and resolutions affecting HR users, managers, and employees, including troubleshooting and liaising with vendors or IT.
• Developing and implementing system or process enhancements, managing security permissions, and rolling out new functionalities.
• Performing initial testing for new applications and defining test criteria.
• Participating in designing process maps, capturing improvements, and maintaining HR knowledge bases.

Who is the ideal candidate?

• Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and engagement skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills, with a strategic and tactical mindset.
• Educational background in Business Administration or similar.
• Workday HCM certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• At least 5 years of experience with Workday HCM modules, including configuration, business process design, and reporting.
• Experience with HR policies, process maps, SOPs, and exposure to HR operations in hospitality is valued.

Tools and Languages :

• Experience with HCM systems like Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, etc.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project planning tools like SmartSheet.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese or French is a plus.
