We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to shape and drive our global SAP ERP platform landscape including Spend Management and Backoffice solutions.

In this role you will lead a team of internal and external experts and serve as the key interface between IT and business functions. Reporting to the Head of SAP this position plays a central role in defining and executing the roadmap for all SAP ERP systems and related SaaS platforms across Fresenius Kabi.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team across SAP ERP Spend Management and Backoffice Solutions
• Act as a central point of contact for business counterparts and Business Relationship Managers
• Govern initiatives and manage escalations related to SAP ERP and related platforms
• Oversee solution design and estimation including review and approval of proposals
• Align IT delivery with business priorities project goals and key deliverables
• Conduct resource and capacity planning; manage onboarding / offboarding and external partners
• Drive coordination between SAP functional teams and other IT areas (e.g. Basis Infrastructure)
• Partner with senior leadership to contribute to business objectives and long-term planning
• Ensure compliance by collaborating with Quality Validation and Audit teams
• Scale SAP and partner solutions in alignment with business needs
• Define and manage the application and services portfolio
• Drive operational excellence and cost optimization initiatives
• Govern project delivery from design to go-live ensuring quality and timeliness
• Manage budgets and financial performance of the area
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coach team members and support professional development

Your Profile

• 10 years of experience in IT management with deep SAP ERP system expertise (implementation and operations)
• Proven leadership of large-scale programs and cross-functional teams in complex global settings
• Strong expertise in SaaS-based Spend Management and Backoffice solutions (e.g. Ariba, Taulia, Blackline, OpenText, VIM)
• Demonstrated experience in portfolio management and harmonization across multinational organizations
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or validated environments is a plus
• High cultural and political sensitivity; adept at navigating matrix organizations and managing global stakeholders
• Excellent understanding of SAP ERP and related engagement / delivery models
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and financial acumen
• Able to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa
• Strong communication influencing and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Proactive solution-oriented and collaborative leadership style
• Willingness to travel occasionally
