A global industrial group is seeking a Head of Accounting to lead a major transformation project in Bilbao. In this role, you will set up accounting operations for multiple European entities and oversee day-to-day financial reporting per IFRS and local GAAP. The ideal candidate has experience with Shared Service Center setups, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in SAP. This position offers the opportunity to drive innovation and lead a high-impact project in a dynamic international environment.

Formación

• Qualified accountant equivalent or in France DESCF/DEC.
• Proven experience in accounting operations transfer or Shared Service Center setup.
• Strong background in statutory reporting under IFRS and local GAAP (French GAAP is a must).
• Previous leadership experience managing accounting teams.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel; Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Set up accounting operations in Bilbao for multiple European entities.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring high-quality financial reporting under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Lead the migration of accounting activities and build a high-performing team.
• Manage all accounting operations: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, bank accounts.
• Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
