We are looking for a

General Manager

for

METT Barcelona and Casa METT Sitges (new opening), who will oversee the overall operations and management of both hotels, ensuring that all functions run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotels, to day-to-day staff management and guests, ensuring alignment with the brand’s high luxury standards.

Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction.

Ensure full compliance to Hotels operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards.

Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan.

Implements and enforces standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high levels of service quality across all departments (Rooms, Spa, administrative areas) and enforces brand quality standards as directed by F&B division.

Manage on-going profitability of the hotels, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.

Management of P&L statements.

Work closely with owners, Sunset Hotels executives, F&B Division and Sunset executives from functional areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 5-7 years of experience in hotel management, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role (preferably with international luxury hotels)

Good understanding of the Barcelona and Sitges market and local hospitality landscape.

Proven experience in managing multiple properties or overseeing large hotel operations.

Fluent in English and Spanish (other languages are a plus).

Outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience.

Experience in opening, managing or re‑positioning a hotel with clear track record.

In-depth knowledge of hotel management, including Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, F&B, Housekeeping and Maintenance.
