At Qaracter, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular) to join high-impact technology projects within the automotive sector, working in the area of Commercial IT Services.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working across the full stack, contributing to software consulting and implementation projects related to Order Management & Distribution, in an international, agile, and collaborative environment.

You will work closely with technical and business teams, contributing to the development, evolution, and reliability of critical systems that support core commercial processes.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java J2EE
• Develop frontend components using Angular
• Work with PostgreSQL databases
• Design and consume REST and SOAP APIs
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies in English (PI Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, Refinements, Estimation Meetings, Team Sync, etc.)
• Analyze, refine, and estimate user stories
• Develop and maintain unit tests
• Deploy applications in test environments
• Collaborate closely with international and cross-functional teams

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular)
• Strong experience with Java J2EE
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Hands‑on experience with REST and/or SOAP APIs
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe)
• Advanced level of Spanish
• English level B2 or higher
• Availability to work 1–2 days onsite per week in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hibernate, JSF, JSP
• Knowledge of SAFe
• Experience with AWS
• Basic knowledge of Linux system administration
• Knowledge of German
• Knowledge of Catalan
