A leading technology firm is seeking an experienced FPGA Architect to join their R&D team in Barcelona. In this role, you will define and design FPGA architectures that enable next-generation systems, ensuring seamless integration within complex environments. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of experience in digital electronics and strong architectural vision. The position offers hybrid flexibility and the opportunity to shape innovative products on a global scale.

Formación

• 7+ years in digital electronics with strong FPGA expertise.

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading international technology company, we’re seeking a FPGA Architect to join their R&D team in Barcelona. You’ll design FPGA architectures that power next-generation technologies, combining deep technical expertise with system-level vision. This is ideal for an experienced professional who has moved beyond pure coding to architectural thinking – translating partner use cases into FPGA solutions that integrate seamlessly into complex hardware / software systems.

What You'll Do

• Work with partners to define FPGA functionality and shape high-level architectural concepts.
• Define FPGA designs that align with overall system goals and interface effectively with broader hardware / software environments.
• Ensure FPGA blocks and IP cores interface seamlessly within complex systems.
• Stay hands-on in implementation while maintaining architectural integrity.
• Shape FPGA solutions that contribute to complete system performance, beyond standalone functionality.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in digital electronics with strong FPGA expertise.
• Proven ability to define and architect FPGA designs into broader systems.
• Understanding of how FPGA blocks and IP cores interact with system-level architectures.

Flexibility : gaps in simulation, validation, or tooling are acceptable if you bring strong FPGA architectural vision and system-level understanding.

Based in Barcelona, with hybrid flexibility.
