The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes according to established specifications and guidelines (quality, safety, and environment) to meet production and operational targets for the assigned area.

The Skilled Operator is the entry-level operator role, performing basic operational processes in production. They operate equipment and machinery requiring proficiency gained through on-the-job and specialized training.

Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is essential, requiring time and effort to develop the necessary skills and experience.

The activities mainly involve (semi) routine work, performed based on training, experience, and assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, or Team Leaders when needed.

Job Description:

1. Operational tasks: Executes operational activities such as discharge, load, transport, cleaning, labeling, and equipment operation to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production.
2. Maintenance & repair tasks: Inspects equipment regularly, performs minor repairs, and reports defects and deficiencies.
3. Reporting: Logs data and activities in logbooks or systems for complete administration and monitoring of production orders.
4. Continuous improvement: Identifies deviations and suggests improvements to optimize processes, tools, and systems.
5. Safety & compliance: Adheres to safety, environmental, and quality regulations; promotes SHEQ awareness; reports hazards and unsafe situations.
6. Good housekeeping: Maintains a clean and safe work environment, ensuring no hazards and proper appearance of work areas and production sites.
