A leading research institution in Vigo is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher for a 1-year contract focused on nanomaterials for drug delivery. Key responsibilities include synthesizing and characterizing nanocarriers, conducting stability tests, and collaborating on European projects. Description

• Bibliographic analysis


• Synthesis, characterization, and functionalization of nanocarriers for drug delivery (especially polymeric, solid lipid and mesoporous silica nanoparticles)


• Stability testing and controlled drug release studies in biological media.


• Frequent communication with European project partners, participation in project meetings, report and scientific writing.

Qualification

• Ph.D. in a relevant field of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Nanoscience, Materials Science, or related areas.


• Fluent in oral and written English.


• Prior experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials, drug delivery, characterization and data analysis.

Duration of the contract : 1 year with possibility of extension.

Deadline for the receipt of the applications : 15th December 2023.
