🌍 Join MCI Spain as Event Manager (Dedicated Account/Implant)

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team at MCI Spain, working exclusively as an implant for a leading international consumer goods company. Based in Madrid, you will play a pivotal role in executing global events, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional experiences for our client.

🚀 What will be your Responsibilities:
  • Lead demand management by proactively forecasting and capturing event needs, ensuring rigorous compliance with established processes, and cultivating strong partnerships with preferred suppliers. Your efforts will drive efficiency, optimise resources, and guarantee that every event is delivered with maximum value and strategic impact.
  • Champion operational excellence by offering creative solutions for locations, timing, and supplier selection, navigating the market to secure the best partners and negotiating tailored proposals that perfectly match client needs. You’ll orchestrate logistics with agility, ensuring seamless coordination from concept to contract.
  • Keep a sharp focus on data integrity and results by maintaining precise event records, tracking key performance indicators, and benchmarking costs. After each event, you’ll lead reviews and supplier assessments, turning feedback into actionable improvements and setting new benchmarks for future success.
  • Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders, building trust and credibility from the outset. You’ll act as the vital link between internal teams and external partners, ensuring everyone is aligned and communication flows seamlessly throughout every stage of the event.
  • Take ownership of governance by preparing clear, user-friendly materials like checklists and evaluation forms and supporting supplier reviews. Your commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement will help raise the bar for quality and consistency across all projects.
🎓 What We’re Looking For:
  • You have at least four years' experience as an Event Manager in corporate events industry.
  • You are a clear, professional, and persuasive communicator in both written and verbal interactions, able to communicate fluently (B2) in both Spanish and English.
  • You excel at project management, effortlessly juggling timelines, resources, and priorities to bring complex events to life.
  • You stay effortlessly organized, juggling multiple priorities with grace and precision.
  • You have a sharp eye for the details, because you know that excellence lives in the small things.
  • You thrive in a flexible hybrid environment, seamlessly balancing collaboration in the office two days a week with the autonomy of remote work for the remaining three days.
  • Bonus points if you have: Cvent User, any other language.
