What you will be responsible for

Signa Sports United is looking for an Engineering Manager.

This position requires a close working relationship with our teams to ensure high‑quality performance and relationships.

This person will help us to:

  • Manage and lead small to medium‑sized teams of skilled technicians through regular 1:1 meetings where you will set expectations, provide feedback on growth and career development, and advise on training to achieve professional development for each team member.
  • Take an active part of the team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization.
  • Cultivate an environment where team members are empowered and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and belonging.
  • Find and introduce new ways to help the team understand and improve their tempo, ship iteratively to learn, and make decisions to move forward.
  • Work with the recruiting team to attract, onboard, and retain diverse top talent.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong experience leading and managing teams.
  • Ability to inspire, grow, lead, and develop a team to high‑performance standards.
  • Background in developing in modern technologies.
  • Positive attitude, excellent problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Passion for engineering, learning, and teamwork is a must.
  • You demonstrate strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Spanish.

  • Strong knowledge of managing full‑remote distributed teams.
  • Experience with DDD and domain‑driven architectural patterns.
