Electrical System Installation Design Engineer

This description reflects the Engineering Department focus on electromechanical design and integration for aircraft projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform electromechanical design and structural work according to established design principles under the supervision of the Mechanical Lead during the design cycle.
• Create 3D engineering models and 2D drawings; develop designs, assembly, and installation drawings in alignment with electromechanical engineering standards and processes.
• Apply processes and tools applicable to electrical design; adapt to ongoing changes during design and manufacturing phases.
• Collaborate with interfaces across departments; demonstrate strong communication and social skills.
• Support manufacturing and installation processes (reviews, deviation sheets, concessions).
• Identify risk elements, participate in evaluation, and propose efficient, innovative solutions.
• Carry out technical inspections of aircraft (photographs, dimensions, 3D scanning, etc.).
• Record lessons learned to improve efficiency of future projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree / Master in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Electromechanical Engineering Design or Aeronautical Structures.
• Knowledge of ATA 92 and various aircraft types (Boeing, Airbus, etc.).
• Knowledge in Electrical and / or Electromechanical design, including Siemens NX.
• Proficient with CAE and CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX, Teamcenter, AutoCAD).
• Proficient in English and Spanish (high level required).
• Experience working in international environments and projects.
• Good communication, team-oriented attitude, and ability to work in a demanding environment.
