About the Job
Quick description: At Payflow, we thrive on innovation and collaboration, and our dedicated teams work together to shape the future of financial wellbeing for employees.

Three Key Attributes
  • Analytical mindset
  • Team player
  • Passionate for software

Languages: English is a must, Spanish is a plus.

Location: Remote, most of our product & engineering team is located in EU; therefore we require some overlap with CET/CEST timezones. If you live in Madrid, you may work at our office if you'd like (e.g., some engineers go there every Thursday), but this is not compulsory.

Start date: As soon as possible.

What Makes Payflow Unique?

The 21st century is the start of the on‑demand revolution. Booking an Uber takes 2 seconds, ordering a Glovo takes 5 seconds, starting your favourite series takes an instant on your TV. And now, accessing your salary can be the same.

Payflow’s mission is simple – we aim to bring financial well‑being to everybody through financial education and access to fair and socially responsible financial products, offering employees the revolutionary social benefit that allows them to access their earned wages instantly, rather than waiting until payday.

Your Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Excellence: Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient infrastructure solutions that support our applications and services.
  • Automation Focus: Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring, and maintenance wherever possible to ensure reliability and speed.
  • Ownership Mentality: Take responsibility for the availability, performance, and cost‑efficiency of our cloud environments, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with backend engineers, QA, and product teams.
  • Daily Collaboration: Participate in daily stand‑ups and planning sessions to ensure DevOps initiatives align with product goals.
  • Security Awareness: Address and resolve vulnerabilities identified during penetration tests, applying best practices for secrets management and IAM policies.
  • Innovation Drive: Continuously explore new DevOps tools, AWS features, and industry trends to enhance automation, performance, and cost optimisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Share insights, improve internal processes, and help evolve our infrastructure strategy as the company grows.
