As a Delivery Solutions Architect, you are the trusted advisor and go-to expert guiding our top-tier clients through the pivotal productionisation phase.

Our sales and presales teams lay the groundwork, and you'll take the lead in driving the productionisation of crucial use cases. You will be a key player in the account team, shaping delivery strategies and influencing technical and commercial decisions. By working seamlessly with our cross-functional experts, you'll identify and eliminate obstacles, ensuring our customers achieve rapid and impactful results with Databricks.

You'll be the catalyst that unlocks the full potential of Databricks, transforming customers' data into actionable insights. You will drive innovation, contribute to strategic initiatives, and build strong relationships across all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives. Join our Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) team in Madrid!

The impact you will have:

• Develop and execute delivery plans: Create and manage detailed delivery plans ensuring alignment with customer goals and Databricks capabilities. Actively contribute to internal account reviews.
• Own post-technical win phase: Operate as an expert in Data Analytics and AI, being the accountable technical architect for committed use cases, creating certainty from uncertainty.
• Drive acceleration: Derisk implementations by driving platform onboarding, providing technical enablement, removing blockers, and guiding architectural best practices to ensure successful go-lives and healthy workload consumption.
• Strategic resource engagement: Optimize delivery by engaging the right Databricks resources and expertise to swiftly resolve delivery roadblocks.
• Leverage your influential authority: Use leadership and expertise to drive agile delivery, guiding customers, partners, and internal teams towards streamlined processes.
• Champion customer needs: Navigate Databricks' Product and Engineering teams for new product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
• Share and collaborate: Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

What we look for:

• 7+ years of experience leading technical Data/AI projects or programs in a customer-facing capacity (post-sales, presales, etc.).
• Technical program or project management skills, including stakeholder and resource management accountability.
• Experience with complex data architecture, analytics, and AI solutions in the cloud (AWS, Azure, and/or Google).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Scala, Spark.
• Experience handling complex escalations with senior executives.
• Ability to deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations to diverse audiences, including technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, and performing business analysis.

Mandatory requirements:

• Located in Madrid (within a commutable distance to the Databricks office for a hybrid work schedule).
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
