Responsibilities

• Provide third-level support for a range of database technologies, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with managed service providers to ensure seamless support transitions.
• Automate database operations and processes using ANSIBLE.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Support change management activities, ensuring compliance with validation requirements in regulated environments.
• Work closely with team members to share knowledge and enhance collective expertise.
• Explore and implement innovative solutions to improve database platform operations.
• Administer and support containerized database environments and cloud-based platforms as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, both niche and well-established.
• Developer mindset with experience automating database operations using ANSIBLE.
• Experience with container administration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is an advantage.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve your skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity-driven approach.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA) is a plus.
