About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to manage Cybersecurity technologies and ensure their health. This Cyber Security Operation Specialist role includes all aspects of the squad mission; it will concentrate on providing security technologies and processes with advanced skills that will help resolve service issues and do regular tasks to make sure that the solutions they own/manage are working at their best.

We are searching for a Cyber Security Specialist to join our growing Cyber Platform team, part of Cyber Technology. This position will be in our Barcelona office or remotely in Europe.

What you'll do:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Design, implement, and integrate security controls and technologies, collaborating with IT teams.
3. Provide guidance and support on security-related matters, and stay informed on emerging threats and best practices.
4. Assist in the configuration and collection of security log events using SIEM, and support related integration activities.
5. Maintain operational documentation, adhere to change control processes, and support automation scenarios.
6. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory IT security requirements.

What we're kindly looking for:

1. 4+ years relevant experience in IT, with almost 2 years in the network security field.
2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
3. Infrastructure Security – AD, EntraID, protocols, cloud, etc.
4. Logging technology integration and support.
5. SIEM technology – integration and support.
6. Endpoint & Identity Protection – technology and support (including cloud security).
7. Experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on security operations or security architecture.
8. Strong knowledge of foundational security principles.
9. Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and web technologies.
10. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
11. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, web proxy, endpoint protections, or others.
12. Cloud technologies and processes (Azure/AWS – security groups, hardening).
