Join Axpo as a Cybersecurity Engineer and contribute to enhancing the security of our systems and infrastructure. In this dynamic role youll work closely with a collaborative team to implement maintain and monitor security measures ensuring resilience against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks systems and applications for security breaches using advanced tools.
• Assist in detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents including post-incident reporting.
• Conduct threat analysis and assess the impact of security alerts on the organization.
• Support vulnerability management by identifying, tracking and remediating risks.
• Deploy, configure and maintain security tools (e.g. firewalls, SIEM, IDS / IPS, Azure security stack).
• Collaborate with Security Operations and Risk Management teams to align efforts with organizational strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in security operations with knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection solutions, and cloud security tools (e.g. Azure Defender).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and vulnerability management.
• Certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Security Analyst are a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required with a willingness to further improve. Knowledge of Spanish or German is an advantage.
