Formación

Overview

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based Startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide global and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol. In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.

Your mission

The Country Manager is responsible for driving Sateliot’s revenue growth in Australia by developing and activating the local IoT ecosystem. The focus of the role is to work closely with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) and MVNOs, ensuring they become effective commercial partners, supporting customer onboarding, and maximizing the number of active satellite-connected devices in the country and their revenues.

Main Functions
  • Revenue Accountability: Contribute directly to achieving the country revenue target. Support the signing of commercial agreements with MNOs/MVNOs and help maximize their value over time.
  • MNO/MVNO Engagement: Open and maintain strong relationships with MNOs and MVNOs. Ensure they are fully enabled to act as active sales channels for Sateliot’s services. Support commercial discussions and onboarding activities in coordination with the central commercial team (VAS from direct sales).
  • Ecosystem Activation: Engage the broader IoT ecosystem — including solution providers, system integrators, device manufacturers, and relevant stakeholders in the country. Represent Sateliot locally to create awareness and identify new opportunities.
  • Customer Onboarding & Support: Act as the local point of contact for customers generated through both local outreach and central direct sales: MNOs, MVNOs, Strategic partners (i.e., OEM, Research Institute, etc.), Top VASs. Ensure smooth onboarding and help maximize sensors deployments in the country.
  • Sales Execution: Proactively support deal closure with MNOs and ecosystem partners. Focus on growing the number and value of signed agreements with operators and final customers (VASs).

  • Active partnerships with MNOs and MVNOs acting as commercial channels.
  • An engaged local IoT ecosystem that drives adoption.

Requirements
  • 5 years of experience in sales via MNOs/MVNOs (Can also consider sales of satellite communications, however less relevant)
  • Proven track record of effective sales
  • Knowledge of the telecom and IoT sector
