About our client
An international company specializing in engineering, design, and project execution within the Oil & Gas (offshore-subsea) and Offshore Wind sectors. The company is seeking a strategic profile to report directly to the CEO, overseeing the commercial function with a strong focus on proposal management and technical feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Proposal & Bid Management : Lead the preparation, review, and submission of commercial and technical proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and organizational standards.
- Commercial Strategy : Analyze commercial terms, pricing strategies, and market competitiveness for each proposal to ensure a competitive outcome.
- Cross-Functional Coordination : Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, commercial teams, and clients, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and client needs.
- HSE & Quality Leadership : Lead the implementation of Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies within the commercial team, allocating necessary resources and participating in safety walkabouts and management reviews.
- Reporting & Improvement : Monitor bid success rates, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to the CEO regarding the bid pipeline, risks, and opportunities.
- Compliance : Maintain standardized documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and client regulations.
Requirements (M / F / D)
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience : more than 10 years of professional experience is required.
- Sector Knowledge : Detailed knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas (offshore-subsea) and / or Offshore Wind markets.
- Proven experience in managing and providing complex bids and proposals.
- Strong analytical skills to digest complex information and implement sales strategies. Excellent communication skills to present data effectively and negotiate with clients.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, commercial, operations) and provide performance feedback.
- Full competence in English is mandatory and Spanish.
- Availability for frequent travel and remote working as needed.
