An international engineering company is looking for a Commercial and Proposal Manager specializing in the Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind sectors. This role involves leading proposal management, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years in the industry with strong analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, along with availability for travel and remote work.

Formación

  • More than 10 years of professional experience required.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas (offshore-subsea) and/or Offshore Wind markets.
  • Proven experience in managing and providing complex bids and proposals.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the preparation, review, and submission of commercial and technical proposals.
  • Analyze commercial terms, pricing strategies, and market competitiveness.
  • Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, commercial teams, and clients.
  • Lead the implementation of Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies.
  • Monitor bid success rates and provide regular reports to the CEO.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and client regulations.

About our client

An international company specializing in engineering, design, and project execution within the Oil & Gas (offshore-subsea) and Offshore Wind sectors. The company is seeking a strategic profile to report directly to the CEO, overseeing the commercial function with a strong focus on proposal management and technical feasibility.

Responsibilities
  • Proposal & Bid Management : Lead the preparation, review, and submission of commercial and technical proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements and organizational standards.
  • Commercial Strategy : Analyze commercial terms, pricing strategies, and market competitiveness for each proposal to ensure a competitive outcome.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination : Act as the central point of contact between technical teams, commercial teams, and clients, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and client needs.
  • HSE & Quality Leadership : Lead the implementation of Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies within the commercial team, allocating necessary resources and participating in safety walkabouts and management reviews.
  • Reporting & Improvement : Monitor bid success rates, identify areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to the CEO regarding the bid pipeline, risks, and opportunities.
  • Compliance : Maintain standardized documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and client regulations.
Requirements (M / F / D)
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience : more than 10 years of professional experience is required.
  • Sector Knowledge : Detailed knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas (offshore-subsea) and / or Offshore Wind markets.
  • Proven experience in managing and providing complex bids and proposals.
  • Strong analytical skills to digest complex information and implement sales strategies. Excellent communication skills to present data effectively and negotiate with clients.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, commercial, operations) and provide performance feedback.
  • Full competence in English is mandatory and Spanish.
  • Availability for frequent travel and remote working as needed.
