A leading TravelTech company in Madrid is seeking a skilled Observability Engineer to deploy and support components using Kubernetes and AWS. Candidates should have experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, along with a solid understanding of observability features. Formación

  • Experience with de-facto market-standard open-source components.
  • Proven experience with Observability solutions.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks like Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience with container-native applications in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Linux systems administration.
  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies.
  • High written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Experience with Python or Go is a plus.

Observability Engineer – Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Observability Engineer with experience working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm, with deep knowledge of Observability features (logging, metrics, tracing, APM, …) ideally in hybrid high‑volume distributed platforms with thousands of transactions per second.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy and support Observability Platform components on Kubernetes and AWS EC2 instances, ensuring technology performance by design, right‑sizing, scalability and reliability.
  • Lead the cross‑definition for technical and functional monitoring.
  • Define, implement, and support monitoring, logging, tracing, and APM challenges for all internal customer teams.
Qualifications
  • Experience with de‑facto market‑standard open‑source components including Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or similar.
  • Proven experience with Observability solutions such as Telegraf, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, Logstash, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kibana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience working with container‑native applications deployed in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience in Linux systems administration.
  • Experience working with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
  • High written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience with Python or Go is a plus.
