This is a full-time position that requires someone who is highly organized, confident in their high-performance driving ability, objectively focused when making judgments, and confident in their ability to manage projects along a very fluid schedule.

This role is based in Tarragona, Spain, but also requires the flexibility to travel (up to 40%) to various domestic and international destinations as necessary, to test vehicles on public roads, test tracks, and proving grounds.

Note: We require an English version of your CV to be submitted along with your application.

What You'll Do
  • Design and execute test procedures for Active Safety features, and generate test plans based on program requirements and executive direction.
  • Execute real-world testing according to defined test specifications, as well as provide ad-hoc support for specifically requested scenarios.
  • Triage, analyze, and track Autopilot performance; depending on the root causes, coordinate with the Homologation or Software QA team for issue escalation.
  • Identify effective test strategies for new and existing features, and develop test plans accordingly.
  • Develop tools and automation to improve the efficiency of the test team.
  • Analyze data collected during testing to identify issues and determine whether the vehicle meets federal and internal requirements. Collaborate with firmware developers to resolve issues and validate software changes.
  • Work with internal engineering teams and external governing agencies to demonstrate compliance.
  • Maintain and document the condition of test vehicles, and coordinate repairs or retrofits as needed.
  • Support other vehicle engineering testing as required
What You\'ll Bring
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education is required. Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, or Python is preferred.
  • Experience in troubleshooting both software and hardware, as well as in-vehicle testing, is mandatory. Experience with homologation testing for active safety is a plus.
  • Experience in testing ADAS features, working knowledge of CAN, and/or experience testing computer vision systems are strong advantages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills are required, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and coordinate multiple parallel programs and executive priorities.
