The role involves designing helicopter components, ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in composite and metallic helicopter structure design, proficiency in CATIA V5, and advanced English skills. This is a permanent position offering a dynamic work environment.

Airbus Helicopters España S.A. (AHE) integrates the Rotorcraft activities in Spain. EBSTIF performs Design and Stress activities participating in all phases of the product, from specification to customer in-service support : conceptual and detail design, support to production (non-conformity assessment, generation of documentation needed for manufacturing, etc.), support to testing activities, generation of evidences for certification / qualification purposes and customer support. EBSTIF is looking for candidates with the following capabilities :

Responsibilities

• Design helicopter structure components and assemblies optimized for weight, cost, performance, and production / assembly requirements while ensuring the highest safety of the product using appropriate design tools.
• Verify that detailed design solutions comply with the validated requirements baseline for a sub-system, equipment, component, or module.
• Develop modifications and retrofits within timescales as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
• Adapt design solutions to the real helicopter configuration within a brief period of time.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Mandatory : 5 years of experience in Composite and Metallic Helicopter Structure Design, CATIA V5 (CPD, FTA, Drawings), Microsoft Office, Configuration management (VPM), Change management (ECR / ECP), Knowledge of AH Manufacturing processes
• Desirable : CATIA V4, Composite repair design
• Ability to communicate technical subjects effectively and accurately to non-specialists
