This role involves creating AI presets for various media forms and collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure high-quality outputs. This is a full-time contractor position with remote work flexibility, offering a chance to be part of a groundbreaking visual project.

We are looking for a highly creative and technically strong AI Artist to join Picsart’s GenAI initiative. In this role, you will create visually compelling AI presets across image-to-image, image-to-video, video to video effects, text to image/video prompt presets. You will shape the visual identity of our AI catalog by designing presets, developing high-quality prompts, and ensuring consistent output quality.

Your work will be used across our GenAI library, landing pages, quick-action tools, presets catalog, and product surfaces. You’ll collaborate with Product, SEO, and Engineering teams to translate product needs into visual assets, prompt-based styles, and ready-to-use effect templates. Please note that this is a Full-Time Contractor (6-month contract)– you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely, with the option to join us in the office whenever you’d like!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Create high-quality AI presets across images, avatars, video effects, transitions, camera motions, environmental effects, and stylized looks.
• Build consistent preset families for categories.
• Explore and prototype new visual directions using industry-leading AI models.
• Write production-ready prompts optimized for consistency, realism, and quality outputs and developing prompt frameworks for scaling.
• Identify emerging visual trends to develop fast-moving, viral, or seasonal effects.
• Own visual QA for all preset outputs across image and video.
• Define & document quality standards for lighting, composition, color grading, subject clarity, and stylization.
• Ensure outputs meet SEO-intent across landing pages.
• Provide preset previews (before/after) and visual assets for tool landing pages, effect pages, SEO surfaces, and the GenAI home catalog.
• Collaborate with SEO & Product teams to align presets with traffic-driving themes and trends.
• Work on the CMS to organize presets, maintain metadata, and support configurations for launching presets.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong portfolio of AI-generated visual work across image or video and different media.
• Expertise with multiple generative models (Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Luma, Gemini, Flash, Flux etc.).
• Understanding of lighting, composition, framing, character design, and stylization.
• Experience writing detailed, structured prompts and preservation constraints.
• Ability to iterate quickly and maintain high output quality.

Nice To Have

• Background in visual effects, illustration, concept art, motion design, or photography.
• Familiarity with product/UX workflows and SEO-driven creative content.
• Experience with CMS-driven content systems, presets, or filter creation.
• Understanding of vfx, camera motion presets, and dynamic composition.
