What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a talented and experienced hands-on Agile Delivery Manager (ADM) to focus on making things happen and ensuring the teams have everything they need to succeed. As an ADM, you will excel at managing the developer teams and the implementation and delivery of the dev work from the specification to launching on production. You will also coordinate across multiple departments to remove any impediments or blockers. You will be working hand to hand with the Product Manager to assure high quality deliveries.

If the ADM detects that a process is slowing down a team, you can propose changes to ensure the teams can perform at the highest level. You will do everything in your power to ensure a positive atmosphere where everyone thrives in a good work culture.

Furthermore, since the ADM has a much broader view of the entire organization, you will be an expert communicator, capable of addressing different audiences across multiple departments and stakeholders, with the overarching goal of leading the teams to success and continuous improvement.

In addition to the technical aspects of the role, the ADM is expected to motivate and manage agile teams daily - overseeing task and board management, blocker reviews, and task delivery overruns. You will assist in team development across functions such as design, product, and development, while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing impediments to their work, and mentoring and developing team members.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), including the artefacts, practices, and systems.
• Previous experience in a similar role in a software development (preferably SAAS product) environment.
• Expertise in planning, prioritizing conflicting requirements (support and new feature), and scheduling releases.
• Experience in negotiating business requirements and priorities with business stakeholders up to management.
• Ability to perform analysis and evaluation of projects including resourcing and project financials.
• Experience in presentation and the delivery of information at varying levels from clients to management.

Objectives and Responsibilities Of This Role

• Understand the needs of the company, the strategy for the project and its goals.
• Leading teams with no major support and determining the best ways to progress projects toward success.
• Act as the main point of contact and expert when implementing solutions.
• Bring in change and improvements for the performance and quality of projects.
• Establish and modify the project roadmap as required to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate and facilitate daily delivery, planning, release planning, and retrospectives for the team.
• Own the delivery plan to track progress and manage dependencies tightly. Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support the company goals in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the other functions and schedule the execution of deliverables across multiple teams.
• Manage the implementation and delivery of dev work from the specification to production.
• Communicate expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Liaise with stakeholders and communicate progress.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job assistance to team members.
• Provide visibility of team status and issues to senior management and other business stakeholders.
• Assist management to forecast capacity to ensure that the team has adequate resources to meet roadmap requirements.
• Work closely with management to update on project and product progress.
