A leading company in infrastructure solutions located in Madrid seeks an Accounts Assistant to manage financial aspects and ensure compliance with regulations. This role entails preparing accounting entries, overseeing bank accounts, and supporting audits. Candidates must have advanced Excel skills, a solid understanding of Spanish accounting practices, and a good level of English. As Accounts Assistant your duties will include preparing general accounting and financial management, recording and controlling income and expense invoices, allocating and reviewing accounting entries in ERP systems, document archiving, overseeing bank accounts, reconciliations, treasury control, and cash forecasting.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for financial monitoring, identifying improvements and risks, supporting audits, filing taxes and Intrastat reports, preparing reports for management, and other administrative tasks related to the group's activities, such as credit coverage requests, preparing medium-term treasury statements, requesting guarantees, and renewing insurance policies.
You will have a solid understanding of the Spanish General Accounting Plan and tax regulations, have advance Excel skills and a sound working knowledge of financial processes within ERP systems. Excellent analytical skills are also an essential requirement of this role as is a good level of English (B2 or equivalent).
