A research institution in Spain is seeking a First Stage Researcher to participate in the synthesis of nanoparticles and conduct experiments with agricultural crops. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental or agricultural sciences and experience in laboratory tasks. The position offers a temporary full-time contract with a competitive salary of 1600 € monthly.

Formación

• Academic training related to environmental or agricultural sciences or similar.
• Experience in sampling and handling scientific instrumentation.
• Experience in controlled agricultural conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles.
• Design experimental trials with relevant crops.
• Collect and analyze soil, water, and plant tissue samples.

Overview

Type of Contract : Temporary. Job Status : Full-time. Hours Per Week : 37.5. Reference Number : . Not funded by a EU programme. Not a staff position within a Research Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles and nanocapsules with fertilizing and phytosanitary properties.
• Design and implementation of experimental trials in hydroponic systems, potted soils, and field plots with agriculturally relevant crops.
• Collection, processing, and analysis of soil, water, and plant tissue samples.
• Performance of physico-chemical, enzymatic, and microbiological analyses, including PLFA, basal and induced respiration, and soil enzymatic activities.
• Data management and statistical analysis of experimental results, report writing, and contribution to scientific publications.
• Participation in scientific dissemination and knowledge transfer activities related to the project.

Qualifications

• Item 01 : Academic training related to environmental or agricultural sciences or similar
• Item 02 : Experience in sampling, solution preparation, basic lab tasks and handling of scientific instrumentation
• Item 03 : Experience handling agricultural crops under controlled conditions
• Item 04 : Experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
• Item 05 : In the event of a tie in the scoring of items 1, 2, 3, and 4, a personal interview will be conducted
