Position Overview: The Senior Commercial Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving commercial and business excellence by designing, planning, and implementing processes, tools, and initiatives to maximize top and bottom-line results. The role will analyze and integrate insights from different sources (market research, competitive intelligence, analytics, forecasting, CRM data) to enable fact-based decision-making. The Senior Commercial Excellence Manager will work cross-functionally with key business partners including the Training Manager, Country Manager/Sales Manager & Business Leads, Marketing Manager, the International Marketing Team, and the International Commercial Excellence Manager. This position is based in our office in Munich, Germany.

Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  1. Analyze and integrate insights and data to provide recommendations for decision-making.
  2. Develop and implement the Sales Force Effectiveness Plan focusing on key priorities.
  3. Lead, with the Sales Manager, on Sales force performance, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  4. Partner with the Sales Manager on Sales Force sizing, territory alignment, and effectiveness.
  5. Lead and drive the SFE culture and philosophy across all markets.
  6. Drive adoption and use of Veeva CRM and Tableau to facilitate better business decisions and analytics.
  7. Collaborate with team members to deliver cross-functional projects.
  8. Lead and influence without direct authority, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  9. Work with large data sets, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  10. Manage multiple priorities and timelines independently.
  11. Maintain attention to detail, quality orientation, and a strategic overview.
  12. Exhibit excellent change management and issue resolution skills to deliver results.
  13. Communicate effectively verbally, in writing, and interpersonally.
  14. Be highly organized and self-motivated with strong stakeholder management skills.
  15. Uphold company mission and values: accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  16. Support compliance with Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  17. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  18. Work on mobile devices, tablets, or computers, and be willing to travel up to 30%, including overnight/weekend trips.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 8+ years of commercial experience in sales, marketing, or commercial excellence within the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven track record of implementing commercial excellence projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading strategic initiatives, directly or indirectly.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Veeva, and their implementation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau, Power BI, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations.
