ASSISTANT FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - BERLIN PRENZLAUER BERG

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to advance their career and join our Finance team, covering Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, Generator Berlin Mitte, and Generator Hamburg. You will support the Financial Controller in ensuring efficient and accurate completion of all accounting processes and procedures. This role is key to financial and operational reporting and offers a great opportunity for the right candidate to add significant value to the business.

ABOUT GENERATOR BERLIN PRENZLAUER BERG

Located in East Berlin's laid-back neighborhood, Generator Prenzlauer Berg offers a safe, clean space near Landsberger Allee S-Bahn and Tram station. Housed in a former Communist office block, it features a beer garden, open public spaces, and entertainment areas. It's ideal for groups and school travelers and provides easy access to major city attractions like Alexanderplatz, the TV Tower, and the Stasi Museum.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Support the Financial Controller in preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts and property reports
• Assist with daily operations such as credit control and revenue reporting
• Manage accounts receivable and purchase procedures
• Handle electronic employee files and other HR administrative duties
• Run monthly payroll, ensuring accurate recording of staff hours, leave, and allowances
• Support monthly forecasting and benchmarking analysis
• Supervise the Accounts Payable function
• Assist the Financial Controller on finance projects as needed

Other duties may be assigned as required.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Relevant experience, ideally in the hospitality industry
• Qualifications or extensive experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in analysis, requirement gathering, and organizational change
• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives, new systems, and processes
• Fluent German speaker
• This is a 100% on-site position; no remote work options available
