Field Service Engineer (Electromechanical Machinery)

€60,000 - €68,000 + Up to 10% Bonus + Company Vehicle + 30 days Holiday + Benefits + Training + Progression

Excellent opportunity for a multiskilled engineer to join a worldwide company in a position where you will have the chance to receive bespoke training to become a technical expert with a desirable and lucrative field.

The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in specialist manufacturing processes for a variety of industries, including but not limited to Aerospace, Automotive & Medical. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand. As a result they are looking for a new Field Service Engineer to join specialist machinery team at their site in Bavaria.

The core responsibilities of this role will be to work closely with the team to support customer needs of their specialist machinery. This could be from technical support remotely to visiting sites for planned maintenance or new installations. You will train extensively at the start of the role to become a task expert and receive ongoing training throughout your time with the company to ensure you are at the cutting edge of engineering.

The right candidate will be qualified multiskilled engineer with experience in a similar role of working on machinery. You will be comfortable travelling approx 50%-70% of the time. This travel is almost always pre-planned. You will also have a desire to learn and be keen to self develop in the role. The candidate must also speak business fluent German and English.

The Role:
*Field based - 50-70% travel - Domestic and International
*Service, Repair, Install, Commissioning of specialist machinery
*Ongoing training & Development Plan
* Technical Support and reporting from site

The Person:
*Engineering degree or equivalent vocational qualification in transferable industry
*Similar work experience for at least 2 years
*Good German and English language skills
*Full Driving License
*Comfortable travelling as part of the role
