We're hiring : Head of Resource Planning – Germany & Austria

Based in Frankfurt | Aviation | Full-time | Permanent

Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in workforce planning, operational optimisation, and team leadership?

This is a rare opportunity to lead and shape resource planning across one of Europe’s most dynamic ground handling networks.

We're supporting a major international aviation services provider in the search for a Head of Resource Planning to oversee workforce planning functions across their German and Austrian operations, with a focus on Frankfurt Airport.

The role includes :

• Leading a team of 15–20 planners across multiple locations
• Scaling headcount from 300 to 1,500 in Frankfurt
• Creating structure and driving performance within the cargo planning team
• Acting as the primary contact for all resource planning strategy, tools, and operations
• Supporting union negotiations and participating in works council discussions
• Introducing new systems, tools, and KPIs to improve performance
• Contributing to tender activity (if experienced in business development)

What we're looking for :

• Strong experience in resource or workforce planning (aviation or logistics preferred)
• A solid understanding of German labour law and planning regulations
• Proven leadership and team management ability
• Fluent English and at least conversational German
• Familiarity with GS Planning and Power BI is a plus
• Analytical, solutions-driven, and comfortable in high-growth environments

Salary : Up to €120,000 base + non-fixed bonus
