To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements and responsibilities:

The German Reviewer is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of their language at the account level. The Multimedia Content Reviewer will write and review linguistic content in German, ensuring high accuracy for multimedia platforms. Over time, they will become cultural ambassadors for their language market, producing localized content and identifying cultural issues to make content appropriate and relevant for target audiences.

The ideal candidate has a background in journalism or similar, with proven creative writing skills and keen attention to detail. A passion for music, film, tech, and familiarity with iOS and Mac OS devices are highly desirable.

• Localize, translate, and adapt content across various categories (multimedia, legal, technical, marketing), adhering to style guides and guidelines.
• Write new copy for multimedia products such as music, TV, app store apps, video-on-demand, and gaming services.
• Perform linguistic reviews of their own work and that of team members across content types.
• Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy.
• Conduct Localization QA (LQA) testing on live platform content.
• Research local content trends, terminology, and best practices for their market.
• Transcribe spoken content like lyrics.
• Report on media and content assets.
• Create training materials and ensure team training on terminology, style, and best practices.
• Collaborate with global language teams via virtual meetings and emails to calibrate terminology and style, and share market insights.

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or media content editing, with writing samples.
• Experience in multimedia content translation and localization.
• Strong judgment to identify issues within large content volumes.
• Broad knowledge of music, TV, cinema, gaming, and pop culture.
• Ability to own language market decisions confidently.
• Highly detail-oriented with multitasking and deadline management skills.
• Native German speaker and fluent in English.
• Proficient with computers; knowledge of iOS/macOS is a plus.
• Capable of typing fluently in native language using an English keyboard.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Team-oriented and comfortable in a multicultural environment.
