Job summary
A global medical technology company is seeking a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager Oncology to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of Early Feasibility Studies in oncology. The role is remote with 10-25% travel required, emphasizing problem-solving and teamwork to develop breakthrough cancer therapies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of oncology-related experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role : Sr. Clinical Trial Manager Oncology
As a Sr. Clinical Trial Manager you will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of Early Feasibility Studies (EFS) in oncology. This role emphasizes agility learning and creative problem-solving to accelerate the development of breakthrough cancer therapies.
The role is remote with 10-25% travel required and can be based in any of our EMEA locations .
- Lead strategic and operational planning of interventional oncology trials
- Manage global clinical studies in alignment with strategy budget and SOPs
- Collaborate on development of study materials systems and regulatory submissions
- Engage with external physicians and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
- Oversee clinical trial budgets (up to 25%) including forecasting and variance reviews
- Direct CROs and clinical vendors
- Ensure audit readiness and risk management throughout the study lifecycle
- Present study progress data and risks to leadership
- Provide clinical input to product development teams
- Domestic travel : 1025%
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of oncology-related experience
- 13 years in early feasibility oncology clinical research
- 13 years of project / trial management experience
- 13 years of financial and budget management experience
- Experience working with CROs and clinical vendors
- Experience in solid tumor medical device or drug development
- Familiarity with product development teams
