We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer (Angular) / Team Lead to join our team.

Our company is developing an AI fintech platform that aims to revolutionize the banking experience by making it simpler, more transparent, and accessible.

Location: 100% Remote within Germany

Contract type: Full-time employment

Tech Environment:

• Frontend: Angular 19, TypeScript
• Infrastructure & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure
• Backend: Ruby on Rails

Tasks:

• Manage, coach, and empower a team of frontend and backend engineers
• Collaborate with the Product Manager on Epics, estimates, and delivery
• Ensure the platform’s technical scalability, stability, and long-term maintainability
• Promote best engineering practices and uphold code quality
• Actively contribute to the Angular codebase and set technical standards by example

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Angular and TypeScript development experience
• 2+ years of experience in people management
• Strong leadership skills focused on team empowerment and collaboration
• Experience building and maintaining production-ready software
• Hands-on experience with the latest Angular versions
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a strong advantage
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Fluent English
• Ruby on Rails experience is a plus, but not required
