Job Description: Therapy Specialist Watchman (m/f/d) - Hamburg Area
About this role
This role is responsible for the development and adoption of LAAC therapies in an assigned market. The position involves designing and executing a therapy awareness plan aligned with Boston Scientific's strategic priorities, focusing on referral network activation. The role aims to meet or exceed sales objectives through strong collaboration with the Watchman leadership and local sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues affecting product use by engaging with existing and potential customers. Assess their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care to determine how our therapies can provide comprehensive healthcare solutions.
- Map and prioritize key referral networks for WATCHMAN therapy, including Electrophysiologists, Gastroenterologists, Nephrologists, Neurologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and Primary Care Physicians.
- Increase patient treatment and clinical success by educating and training stakeholders involved in patient identification and referral processes.
- Develop and strengthen relationships through therapy awareness activities, customer visits, product demos, educational programs, procedural observations, trade shows, and problem resolution.
- Build relationships with hospital administrative personnel to understand hospital dynamics and identify key decision-makers.
- Educate physicians and allied health professionals on the clinical merits and proper use of company products via presentations and demonstrations.
- Create action plans based on sales data to identify account needs and discuss strategies with managers to achieve sales targets.
- Travel to meet with referral networks, understand their needs, and demonstrate how our products can help achieve their goals.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in target accounts.
Quality Systems Requirements
Maintain a commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to Quality Policy and related procedures. For supervisors, ensure resources are adequate and promote a quality-supportive work environment.
Your Background
- 2-4 years of proven sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with EMEA markets and knowledge of healthcare systems in Germany, France, UK, Italy, Spain.
- Additional experience in MedTech sales, business development, or market access is advantageous.

- Deep understanding of principles and theories relevant to the role, with practical application experience.
