Job description
Join us as a (Senior) Product Manager (m/f/d) in our Cabin Safety team on a shared journey that matters!

The focus of the Vehicle Integration domain and its teams is making the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service a reality. These teams develop the applications and tools needed to enable autonomous passenger management within our MOIA vehicles in a world without a driver: How do passengers authenticate themselves in the vehicle without a driver? How to always ensure a safe cabin during boarding and during the ride? Which content should be displayed on the vehicle screens to provide a safe and informative user experience for passengers?

The Cabin Safety team is one of six teams in the vehicle integration domain that is building a platform which enables and performs automated cabin safety checks and realizes the safety relevant interactions with the autonomous vehicle. The features owned by the team are distributed over embedded and backend software and must consider functional safety requirements.
What you will do
  • Take the ownership of the product the team is building:
    • Define, priorities and align the product roadmap of the team
    • Break down the roadmap into workable pieces together with the team
    • Provide product vision and direction to the team
  • Ensure strong collaboration with development teams at MOIA, as well as with our OEM & technology partners and suppliers
  • Identify and analyze the needs of future fleet operators and customers through user research and translate these insights into technical solutions
  • Build, test, measure and enhance features based on KPIs and feedback to meet the customer and company goals in a lean way
  • Define interface logic for operators to integrate fleet management tools towards a vehicle system
  • Elaborate legal requirements and boundaries towards possible solutions in a safety and security critical environment
  • Define requirements towards OEM's base vehicle functions
  • Get involved into shaping the vision and way forward of our products within the domain and beyond
What will help you to fulfill your role
  • Excellence: You are a seasoned product owner/ manager and highly interested and empathic about the needs of our customers, partners and passengers. You are understanding the legal perspective with the ability to translate these needs and boundaries into clear capabilities that are contributing to our business goals
  • Curiosity: you are excited about the challenges and complexity of autonomous mobility services. and understand complex system architectures. You are eager to learn and understand how your product interacts with other systems, what it contributes and how to optimize it so that it maximizes the value of the End2End product
  • Communicator: You love interacting with different personalities and backgrounds; you can understand their needs and motivate them. Colleagues and stakeholders enjoy working with you because you communicate clearly, listen well, and keep everyone aligned
  • Adaptability: You are comfortable in a dynamic environment and love tackling complex problems. You are keen in managing multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds, excited to work in high-performance teams and can thrive in a startup culture
  • Agilist: In-depth knowledge and experience in the application of agile values and principles and apply these to the needs of complex, dynamic and ever-changing environments, also with your partners from different industries
  • Industry experience: First experience in the automotive industry or other highly regulated industries, further experience with homologation, testing or standards such as ISO 26262 or ASPICE is a plus
  • Visionary: You like to see the full picture, craft compelling visions for your ideas and understand what makes your internal products viable (or not)
  • Pragmatist: You proved that you get things done, identify problems and are effective in prioritization of challenges to unblock yourself, your team and others
  • Language: Fluent English is required, German is a plus

We encourage you to apply even if your profile does not meet all the requirements for the role since we are looking for a diverse range of experiences, skills, and interests. We are certain that there will be something for everyone because we are working on such a variety of tasks and embrace individual growth at MOIA.
