Summary: As a User Researcher in our team, you contribute to an excellent user experience of SAP’s strategic S/4HANA cloud solution and the Business Suite in a broader perspective.

The Role: As a User Researcher you work closely together with key design and product team members to identify and explore discovery spaces. Your job as a user researcher will be to lead and execute user‑centric projects end‑to‑end, from roll‑in to conceptualization and usability testing. You engage with end users, customers, and customer‑facing teams to better understand the needs of the users. With your skills and passion, you and the whole UX team are driving a user‑centric product definition.

• Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human‑Computer Interaction or comparable fields
• Minimum 4‑6 years of experience in conducting user research, preferably in a business software context
• Experience with applying a variety of both qualitative and quantitative user research methods
• Experience with different research tools (e.g. UserZoom, Respondent, Dovetail)
• Experience in the area of ERP software and/or working in the product operating model is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in German and English

You are a dynamic and strong team player with good writing, presentation, and time management skills. You feel comfortable working and communicating in international and cross‑functional teams. You can effectively engage and convey findings to cross‑functional technical and non‑technical teams.

You work in an international team with highly motivated and creative user researchers in close collaboration with our UX design teams. Besides UX colleagues, you work very closely with your product management and engineering counterparts, particularly in the Finance area. Your team is predominantly conducting user research projects for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
