• Position: Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) at Munich Marriott City West

Who we are looking for...

You ensure our guests and teams have everything they need, managing food, beverages, hotel equipment, cleaning supplies, and marketing materials. You are a professional in warehousing, inventory, and order management, and a competent contact for hotel departments and suppliers. Your diligence ensures smooth hotel operations daily.

Responsibilities include...

• Negotiating with suppliers and obtaining offers based on cost efficiency and feasibility
• Maintaining contact with suppliers and contractors
• Managing purchase orders, receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
• Overseeing the purchase process and order management
• Inspecting incoming goods, verifying deliveries, and checking invoices
• Managing warehousing and stock levels
• Organizing and executing goods issuance
• Controlling costs and inventories, conducting stock takes
• Documenting deliveries, invoices, and internal goods movements
• Collaborating with all hotel departments and leadership team

Requirements...

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing or several years in the upscale hotel industry with specialized training
• Strong entrepreneurial, commercial, and organizational skills
• Good German language skills and excellent communication
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and hands-on mentality
• Work permit for EU / Germany
