About the role:

Are you a high-energy, high-performing software pre-sales professional who thrives in solving complex technical challenges for the largest and most innovative global companies? As a Senior Sales Engineer in our Customer Experience and Engagement organization, you will partner with sales teams across the German-speaking region, including financial services, retail, government, utilities, telecoms, and transportation sectors. We invite you to bring your expertise to Digital.ai!

The Senior Sales Engineer will support sales activities by demonstrating technical expertise in our solutions and their application in the marketplace. You will identify customer requirements and design business outcome-driven solutions aligned with their objectives within our sales process.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Collaborate with account executives on strategic and technical aspects of sales cycles to meet quotas.
  • Develop deep knowledge of Digital.ai’s solutions and their use by customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to customer evaluation teams.
  • Manage technology evaluations using value-based methodologies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Educate customers’ architects, developers, and security engineers on Digital.ai’s technology and security best practices.
  • Engage with technical leads, including developers, testers, security teams, and C-level executives.
  • Present Digital.ai’s value proposition clearly and professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with customer technical contacts, prospects, and partners.
  • Work with customers to understand their drivers and technical needs, and coordinate with internal technical teams.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs, ideally using tools like Responsive (RFPIO).
  • Provide technical leadership during initial implementations and integrations.
  • Represent Digital.ai at industry events to promote our platform and solutions.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in high-value technical sales within SaaS, DevSecOps, ALM, SDLC, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and technical buying processes.
  • Strategic thinking in sales discovery and value positioning.
  • Strong technical discovery and qualification skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.
  • Self-motivation and strong project management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and be based in the DACH region, preferably Germany.
