Clinical Specialist – Leipzig

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Specialist to oversee the clinical aspects of a cutting-edge neurostimulation therapy. This role is key to driving the adoption of an innovative treatment, ensuring its safe implementation, and supporting related commercial activities.

About the Role:

As the clinical expert in the region, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, clinic teams, and patients to implement therapy in respiratory and sleep care settings. You’ll play a critical role in establishing referral networks, educating multidisciplinary teams, and organizing community awareness initiatives to improve care pathways for patients with sleep-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide education and clinical support to healthcare providers, including medical and allied health professionals, across sleep and respiratory centres, outpatient clinics, and advocacy organizations.
• Build trust and understanding of therapy indications among referring physicians and ensure efficient patient pathways.
• Deliver clinical and technical expertise during therapy procedures, including implantation, activation, troubleshooting, and follow-up visits.
• Develop and implement communication frameworks and referral processes to optimize care coordination.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to increase awareness and adoption of the therapy.
• Conduct follow-up training to maintain high competency levels among healthcare professionals.
• Support educational programs and market development initiatives within the territory.
• Document therapy-related reports and maintain compliance with quality system protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest clinical evidence and relevant publications to inform best practices.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Nursing or a bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
• Proven experience in a clinical role within the medical device industry, ideally involving operating room environments.
• Familiarity with therapy awareness, market development, or related fields is highly desirable.
