lemon.markets provides a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform for simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API‑first infrastructure makes launching an investment product customer‑centric and compliant. Your Mission

Accelerate the pace and raise the bar of lemon.markets. You own all business operations and rituals and strive to maximize lemoneer’s productivity through a well‑functioning flow of information, org design, lean processes and the right set of frameworks.

As lemon.markets enters its next stage of growth our leadership team is further evolving, including the role of Max himself from Founder to CEO. You will be a key ingredient for making this successful by ensuring priorities are advanced, time is focused on the highest‑impact areas, and his voice is amplified internally and externally. Therefore, taking over key functions from him and driving them with an entrepreneurial mindset yourself, while dedicating yourself to the internal matters. At lemon.markets we value ownership a lot. Meaning, you have a lot of autonomy in shaping your area of responsibility reporting directly to our CEO and being part of our leadership team.

You will:
  • Enable lemon.markets to move at high speed by creating the necessary environment for strong business performance.
  • Work extremely closely with Max (CEO), and serve as a Swiss‑army knife for solving problems across the company.
  • Drive special projects from within the leadership team cross‑functionally elevating insights and analysis on company operations and key management decisions.
  • Own the People, Talent & Founders Associate functions, set the strategy, lead the respective teams and level up existing frameworks (e.g. career, performance, feedback).
  • Own key internal processes and ceremonies like annual/quarterly planning (in close sync with finance for budgeting), company events or our weekly All‑Hands.
  • Work closely with our shareholder and strategic partner dwpbank, including its management board, to ensure lemon.markets’ contribution to the Group’s strategy.
You will be successful in this role if:
  • You’re excited about getting more people to invest in capital markets and are curious about the infrastructure behind it.
  • You think and act like an entrepreneur and want to play a key role in leading a company.
  • You bring around 10+ years of experience in fast‑paced environments (e.g. startups, consulting, investment banking, Fintech), either:
    • in a People & Talent leadership role with a strong focus on internal org design, or
    • in consulting with significant exposure to strategy, planning, and organizational topics.
  • Leadership is a must for you: empathic, approachable, servant‑leader mindset, but able to challenge and push back when needed. Bonus points if you have read any Patrick Lencioni books.
  • You love making others better through feedback, mentoring and clear communication (in both German and English).
  • You’re strong at bringing structure to ambiguity and are comfortable with frequent change and a broad scope.
  • “This is not my job” is not part of your vocabulary – you take ownership and think for the whole company.
