Neptun-Smulders Engineering is a cutting-edge joint venture between Neptun Werft and the Belgian company Smulders. Together, we combine our extensive experience in development, construction, and project management to create innovative and high-performance converter platforms for offshore wind energy. Neptun Werft, known for its expertise in building over 70 river cruise ships, ferries, and gas tankers, brings its deep maritime industry knowledge into the joint venture. Smulders, a leading specialist in the design, manufacture, and assembly of complex steel structures, complements our capabilities with innovative technical solutions. Together, we develop tailor-made offshore platforms that meet the highest standards of efficiency, sustainability, and robustness.

Through close cooperation and mutual trust within our joint venture, we are able to develop solutions that address not only today’s but also the future challenges of the offshore wind energy sector. • Managing and overseeing complex subassemblies in various systems such as automation, power generation, and power distribution
• Technical management of demanding construction tasks and control systems
• Collaboration with procurement and technical negotiation and coordination with clients, suppliers, and authorities
• Supervising and mentoring designers and technical draftsmen
• Supporting apprentices and interns in their work environment

• A degree in Electrical Engineering (Diploma, Master's or Bachelor's) or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering, ideally in the offshore or maritime sector
• Solid CAD skills and experience in technical planning and design
• Proficient English language skills, both written and spoken
• Proficient German Skills are a big plus
• A communicative and team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently and find solutions
• High flexibility and resilience in a dynamic environment
